Brittany Harrison

Brittany Harrison is a dual certified Registered Nurse and Nationally Registered Paramedic. Her career as a nurse started in Laurel, Mississippi at South Central Regional Medical Center in the emergency department and intensive care unit and led her to Meridian, Mississippi where she is currently employed as a flight nurse/paramedic for PHI Air Medical, Air Med 2. She has been a Registered Nurse since January of 2018 and has a background in emergency medicine, oncology, intensive care, and transport medicine. During her career, Brittany has achieved many specialty certifications to include the Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN). She also holds a bachelors degree in nursing from Louisiana State University. In addition to critical care transport medicine and bedside emergency nursing, Brittany has a strong interest in research and continuing education through evidence-based practice. She is currently performing in the role of base educator and clinical quality improvement representative for her base at PHI. Brittany also enjoys attending conferences for both nursing and EMS so that she may share that knowledge with others as well as further her exposure to best practices in both fields to better serve her patients.
